2024 Juneteenth Jubilee Vendor Agreement

Thank you for agreeing to join us on Saturday, June 22^nd from 11:30 am – 6:30 pm and 11:30 am – 4:00 pm for the Health Zone and Kid Zone areas for our annual Juneteenth Jubilee, our theme this year is Healing our Soul. Our celebration will be held in the Downtown Columbus, 4^th Street Entertainment District. Set-up time for all areas begins at 9:00 am. All areas should be ready to receive guests at 11:30 am. Please fill out the application form and remit payment. Payments can be mailed (personal or cashier check) to NAACP Columbus Bartholomew Branch 3071, 1531 13^th Street, Suite 1310, Columbus, IN 47201, or electronically at www.naacp.barth3071@gmail.com for application and www.naacp-3071.org (under the donations tab) for payment, before the deadline. All applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. Any checks that do not clear will be assessed an administrative fee of $45.00. This year we will have one ceremony beginning at 5:15 pm, food and commercial vendors may begin to clean at 4:45 pm if they wish to attend the ceremony. All booths must be cleaned up by 7:00 pm.

All vendors may pay an additional $10.00 to have their placed on social media and the NAACP Juneteenth flyer. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available, contact Tracey Clark at traceyclark1107@gmail.com or (785) 375-1650.

For Black Churches, Not-for-Profit and Commercial Vendors

• You will be provided 1 table and 2 chairs (No tents)
• No electricity will be provided
• Setup begins at 9:00 am
• You are NOT permitted to sell food items
• All items MUST state ALL ingredients contained in products
• Vendors are responsible for all their own clean-up
• Waste containers will be available in the surrounding area

For Food Vendors

• Must attend a mandatory meeting on Monday, June 3^rd at 7:00 pm via zoom
• You will be provided 1 table and 2 chairs (no tents)
• Electricity will be provided
• No running water will be provided
• Setup begins at 9:00 am
• All items MUST state ALL ingredients contained in products
• Vendors are responsible for all their own clean-up
• Waste containers will be available in the surrounding area
• Food Vendor or Food Truck Vendor will provide a quality food product and a food truck that is staffed by clean, professional and courteous
• ALL food vendors must provide Product Liability Insurance for sale or distribution of any products (i.e. food, beverages, etc.) at the event. Each vendor (an entity in the business of making a profit) must provide a certificate of insurance which provides for $1,000,000 Products Liability You must list the NAACP Juneteenth with the 4^th St Entertainment address on your certificate of liability.
• Vendors must follow all rules set forth in the ‘Guidelines for Temporary Events’ produced by (BCHD) The Bartholomew County Health Department and vendors are solely responsible for meeting all requirements. Inspectors may be on site to inspect
• Vendors who do not have an annual license through BCHD must apply for and purchase a temporary event license on-site. For a copy of their requirements & guidelines, contact the Bartholomew County Health Department at (812) 379-1550.
• Vendors possessing a license to sell food in the state of Indiana must bring their license to the event as proof for the BCHD inspector.

All Participants must fill out the following information:

Signed Vendor contract and fee  must be submitted by May 28, 2024 for Food Vendors and June 4, 2024 for all others 

NAACP or its affiliates will not be held responsible for any liability, lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, or any injury incurred by a vendor during the Juneteenth Celebration. The NAACP reserves the right to censor and ask vendors to leave the event should they not conform to this agreement or display items that are considered in poor taste or offensive.
